The National Angel Capital Organization (NACO) and Newmarkets Partners Ltd. are both Canadian-based organizations that want to see SMEs succeed through business angel investment. National Angel Capital Organization

The National Angel Capital Organization is the industry association representing angel capital throughout Canada. It has become a key catalyst for the commercialization of Canadian innovation and provides the national framework for the C$2.2 billion invested annually by Canadian angels in start-up and seed-stage companies. The NACO and its 30-plus affiliate angel groups across Canada mentor entrepreneurs, work with university tech-transfer offices, and network with investors to fund the growth of Canadian companies.

Newmarkets Partners Ltd.

Newmarkets Partners Ltd. is an event management company with a mandate to develop a powerful international sales and financing eco-system for growth-oriented companies. The Newmarkets principals have already positioned more than 3,000 Canadian executives in 120 workshops to pitch successfully for funding from angels and venture capitalists. These companies have gone on to raise more than C$2.4 billion in seed and early-stage financing.
